[edit: tutorial address was wrong, corrected it]
Color Grading Central daVinci 11 Tutorial 1080p - 842mb (from a 9,6gb file)
this video is the first of a series encoded in the new, mindblowing, X265 (aka HEVC)
as of today (january 2015) in order to play it you need

VLC 2.20+ http://anonym.co/?http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/testing/vlc-2.2.0-rc2/
or
MPC HC http://mpc-hc.org/ (which is my favourite albeit less widespread)

enjoy
Have you/will you be encoding any of the other tutorials as well?
This encode save me a lot bandwidth and time [thank you!], and I'd love to get my hands on a more manageable download for some of the other large tutorial videos on this site!

problem is encoding time. I tried myself to encode some 10gb files and it would take hours and my pc even crashed making me start all over again. I couldn't use the pc while encoding. I have a 4-5 year old 2600k (quadcore with hyper threading at 3.5 ghz) with 16gig and two 550mb read/write ssd's. So while my pc is perfect for any other task, even encoding h264, h265 is unfortunately not one of them.
